Our Story

1992
Ace Bayou Corp was founded in New Orleans, LA, creating soft seating furniture including bean bags, and sold products to retailers throughout the United States with their domestic warehouse located in Lewisburg, TN.
2005
The team at Ace had the revolutionary (then crazy) idea to put speakers in a rocking chair. One prototype and a 150,000 unit order from Walmart later, X Rocker was born.
2007
X Rocker begins to go global and launches in the United Kingdom through working with various distributors and retail partners.
2014
Ace Bayou Corp rebranded to Ace Casual Furniture to reflect their modern company values as a family-owned, market leading designer and manufacturer of home furniture that fits your casual lifestyle.
2015
X Rocker opens up offices and a warehouse in West Yorkshire, UK and releases their first officially licensed gaming chair collection in partnership with Sony PlayStation.
2018
The first X Rocker gaming bed, the BattleBunk, is launched and has continued to be a legacy in X Rocker’s huge range of products.
2019
For the first time, X Rocker was proud to be an exhibitor at the annual E3 trade event in Los Angeles, CA, establishing the brand as a key player in the gaming market.
2020
Eat, sleep, game, repeat. Pioneering the gaming bed concept, X Rocker launches the world’s first eSports inspired gaming bed collection including the Cerberus and Cosmos RGB featuring Neo Motion™ LED lights.
2020
In a brand new agreement with Nintendo® of Europe, X Rocker released their officially licensed Super Mario™ branded gaming chair collection in the UK and across Europe. Now available at major retailers across the world!
2020
RGB makes everything better. X Rocker introduces the first range of Neo Motion™ products incorporating their patented Neo Motion ™ LED lighting technology.
2020
X Rocker opens the brand’s first online store in China.
2021
In partnership with Rival Games, X Rocker launched X-Rivals; furniture industry’s first global gaming tournament platform, alongside the X-Select community; the official X Rocker influencer programme.
2021
X Rocker continues to grow as the world’s no.1 gaming furniture brand. Now with a 2nd warehouse distribution centre in the UK, and selling in more than 25 countries worldwide, this is only just the beginning!

Pioneering the Industry
As video gaming soared in popularity during the pandemic, many furniture brands took their first step into the gaming industry. For us, an already established gaming chair brand, this meant we could seize the opportunity to take it one step further.
Using design-led technology and inspiration from our existing gaming chair portfolio, we have continued to expand our product offering from the iconic audio floor rocker to licensed partnerships with the likes of PlayStation® and Nintendo®, and the world's first gaming bed collection designed with our patented Neo Motion™ LED technology.
Most recently in 2021, X Rocker partnered with Rival Games to launch the furniture industry's first global gaming tournament platform - X Rivals - in an effort to bring together the community and make gaming accessible for all.
