RACE FOR THE CROWN - FAQS

 

HOW IT WORKS

  • At the end of each bi-weekly event, the person with the most points earns a crown

  • Points can be earned by placing in event games and by submitting game clips. Top clip submissions receive bonus points. 

  • At the end of each weekend, if you have a crown, you can either trade it in for it's valued prize OR hold your crown and compete for the next tier

  • If you miss an event, you automatically decrease 1 crown tier

  • If you compete in the next event but DON'T take first, you maintain your current crown status

  • To obtain the Monarch crown, you must take 1st place in 6 total events, without missing participation in any of the events.

HOW TO EARN POINTS: 

EARN POINTS BY COMPETING

  • 5 points for getting into the final

  • 5 points for winning

EARN POINTS BY SUBMITTING CLIPS

You can earn extra points and bragging rights on socials by submitting your clips before the event. All clip submissions will be due by 15:00 GMT/ 9:00AM CT on the Tuesday morning following the event.

  • 5 points for submitting a clip - submit clips here. NOTE: Only 3 clips can be submitted per person per event. 

  • 5 points for the top three clips voted by X Rocker Staff

  • 15 points for the winning clip - voting takes place on X Rocker's social channels

    WHAT PRIZE IS MY CROWN WORTH?

    BRONZE, SILVER, GOLD, PLATINUM AND DIAMOND PRIZING:

    • If at the end of an event you hold a Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond crown, you may trade it in for its valued prize any time before Tuesday at 5pm CT - reference the prizing grid below.

    THE FINAL MONARCH PRIZING:

    • The first person to be crowned the Monarch will win a FREE gaming chair or desk of their choice depending on availability and region**.

    WHEN CAN I TRADE IN MY CROWN?

    • If you hold a crown after an event, you may trade it in for its valued prize by 15:00 BST/ 9:00AM CT on the Tuesday morning following the event.

    • If you miss the trade-in window, you will maintain crown status until the next event. 

    IF I TRADE IN MY CROWN DO I ALSO GET THE LOWER TIER CROWN PRIZING?

    • No. If you trade in your crown, you only receive the current crown's prize.

      • For example, if you trade in your silver crown,  you will only receive a $20 gift card for X Rocker Gaming, not the $10 gift card for the Bronze crown. 

    CAN I LOSE MY CROWN?

    • If you miss participation in any event, you will lose your crown.
